Donor Highlight: Nielson Donates 10 Laptops to MMSEA

Each fall, we welcome new students to the Minds Matter Seattle Chapter (MMSEA) with open arms. Like other chapters, ours is built on the support of mentees, volunteers, and the greater Seattle community.

Although the faces in our group evolve each school year, one thing about our community remains the same – the desire to help each student reach his or her full potential.

To help us achieve this goal, a company in our community, Nielsen, recently donated 10 laptops to our Chapter. These laptops were given to a few very grateful students for the 2017-2018 school year.

One Sophomore recipient said,

“I just wanted to give you a big thank you for donating laptops to Minds Matter! It’s.. great.. for those students who don’t have all the resources to be able to get what they need to be successful in life. You are making an impact [on] me and others by simply donating laptops. [It’s] such a relief… knowing I don’t have to be rushed going to the library [or] worry about turning in my work late. I’m truly thankful for what you have been able to give. Thank you!”
