Pike Place Market Parking Garage – Large garage with many stalls. Elevator/stairs lead toward the waterfront. Walk south to the Aquarium along Alaskan Way.
Pike Place MarketFront Parking Garage – Alternate entrance to the same market parking complex, also convenient for walking.
Republic Parking – Surface lot on Western Ave, slightly farther but close enough for evening events.
AirGarage | Public Parking – Smaller lot a few minutes’ walk away.
Republic Parking (Bell Street Pier 66 Parking Garage) – Another option if closer to the ferries and waterfront walk.
Other Nearby Options
Harbor Steps Parking Garage - Platinum Parking – A bit farther (still walkable).
Republic Parking (Century Square Parking Garage) – In downtown Seattle, great if you plan to explore before/after.
Seattle ePark – Another waterfront-adjacent option.
Fairmont Olympic Parking Garage – In central downtown; a slightly longer walk but plenty of spaces.
Note: The Seattle Aquarium does not have its own dedicated parking lot. Nearby garages and private lots are the main choices.
Tips for Parking on April 30
Reserve ahead with SpotHero or a similar app – This can save money and guarantee a space for your event time slot. Rates near the aquarium commonly range roughly $15–$70 for event evenings.
Arrive early – Evening events downtown can have heavier traffic and fill up garages quicker, especially on Thursdays.
Metered street parking on Alaskan Way and nearby streets exists but is limited and usually enforced into the evening.
Accessible drop-off: There’s a drop-off zone in front of the Aquarium on Alaskan Way, but it’s not for parking (keep clear for buses and accessible access).
Walk from Parking to Event
From whichever garage you choose:
Walk toward Alaskan Way and follow the sidewalk south/north to Pier 59. Most garages are within 5–10 minutes on foot.
Follow signs toward the waterfront/Seattle Aquarium — the walk is pleasant along the waterfront promenade.
